The Important pane — shut-offs and access points

What this screen is for. The eleven shut-offs and access points every report calls out — where each one lives, with a photo. It's the page of the report a homeowner comes back to in an emergency, so it gets its own pane and its own "n of 11" progress count. How to get there. On the capture screen, tap the pinned Important row in the section rail (the amber icon, between Introduction and your sections). What every button does The eleven tiles, in order: Main electrical disconnect · Main water shut-off · Main gas shut-off · Attic access · Crawl-space access · Furnace filter · Septic/well location · Electrical branch panel · Sprinkler shut-off & controls · A/C compressor disconnect · Gas fireplace shut-off. An empty tile is one big Add a finding button — tapping it opens the standard finding sheet already aimed at that shut-off (Talk & edit with AI and all; no stripped-down second editor). A photo dragged onto a tile is the answer — the tile records itself with that photo and the AI names it. A recorded tile shows the exact words the client will read, its photos, and three buttons: Delete (confirm first — "leaves the report's Key Shut-offs & Access block; you can add it again any time"), Preview (the exact front-of-report block, photos and all), and Edit (the same standard finding sheet). "Just talk — these file themselves." The explainer at the top is the same three-step box Roof and Frame show when they're empty, so there is nothing new to learn here: from the Add a finding bar below, tap Talk and say where it is — or just tap Photo — then tap Analyze w/ AI, and the AI writes it up and files it in the right row. After your first one the steps go away and only that one bold line stays. Findings marked important — below the tiles: every finding you've starred from any section, which print in the report's Important block. Nothing starred yet? "Tap the star on any finding." Common questions "Do I have to fill these in by hand?" No — that's the point. Name each shut-off out loud as you pass it, from the same capture bar you use everywhere, and each one files itself into its tile. "I said 'the water main's in the crawlspace and the shutoff valve is corroded' — what happens?" Both things: the location lands in the water tile, and the defect files as its own finding. A mixed note never loses either half — offline included. "This house has no gas fireplace — what do I do with that tile?" Say so while you capture — "no gas fireplace in this house" — and it records as Not present, which is what prints. An unanswered tile simply stays open; it never blocks finishing. "How do I fix one I recorded wrong?" Edit on its tile — the standard finding sheet opens with everything carried over. "Does a shut-off I record late in the walk reach the report right away?" Yes — immediately, photos included, no regenerating. "What does the client actually see?" Tap Preview on any tile: the report's "Key Shut-offs & Access" block, exactly as it prints. Good to know A shut-off saved as a full finding still counts toward "n of 11" — filing it properly never lowers the tally it just answered. Any finding you add while this pane is open files starred — the sheet shows an amber "Important" chip so you know. All eleven want a photo — the report's promise is that the homeowner can find the thing at midnight, and a photo is what does that.
