The HomeRecon Genie — say it, it does it
What this screen is for. The floating green assistant on every dashboard page. Tap it and speak or type a plain sentence: it schedules an inspection, adds a client or an agent, or answers questions about your own business — always showing you an editable card to confirm before anything is saved. How to get there. The HomeRecon Genie pill, bottom-right of every page (it tucks away while you scroll and comes right back). First visit, a little bubble offers examples; open it once and the bubble retires. What every button does Talk / Stop — dictate your request; typing while it listens is respected. Or just type into Your request. Ask / Do it — runs your words through the AI (with a built-in plain parser as the always-there fallback, so it works even offline or with the AI down). The confirm cards — every action shows its details first, editable: "Schedule this inspection?" — address, date and time, client, agent — "Nothing is saved until you tap Confirm." A property address and a date & time are both required: if your words carried no time, it asks ("When's the inspection? Pick a date and time") instead of booking for right now. It reuses people already in your CRM and creates only what's missing, then offers Open inspection. "Add this client?" / "Add this agent?" — name, phone, email, brokerage — Confirm, done, View clients / View agents. The lockdown card — ask it to delete anything and it declines by design: "HomeRecon Genie doesn't delete things." Removing something happens on its own page, behind that page's own confirmation. What you can say No special syntax — one spoken breath works. A wake word ("Hey Genie…") is fine but never needed. Doing: "Schedule an inspection at 1740 Bramble Lane on July 4th at 10am for Rose Smith" — street, city, and state can run together; "next Tuesday," "tomorrow," and "7/4" all work; a bare "3:00" means 3 PM (business hours), and a date with no time books 9 AM. "…with agent Karen Smith from Keller Williams" — the referring agent and brokerage ride along. "Add client Rose Smith 206-555-0199 rose at smith dot com" — spoken emails ("at… dot com") are understood. "Add realtor Bob Jones at Compass." Asking: "Did we finish the Smith inspection?" — its status, findings logged, and what's untouched. "How many inspections this month?" · "How many clients?" "Did Dana Whitfield pay?" · "How much revenue this month?" "What's next?" — your next booking's place and time. Anything it doesn't recognize gets the honest help line with examples — never a dead end. Common questions "Is it going to do things without me?" No. Every write shows the editable confirm card first; nothing is saved on your voice alone. "Can it delete something by accident?" It can't delete at all — the words delete, remove, cancel, and their cousins hit the lockdown card before the AI is even asked. "Whose data does it see?" Yours — it acts as your own signed-in login, scoped to your firm by the same database rules as every screen. "It misheard the address." The confirm card is editable — fix the field and Confirm. "Does it work with the AI down?" Yes — the built-in parser catches the standard phrasings, so scheduling and adding people keep working. Good to know The capture screen's "Help me" button is a different helper — a camera-first field assistant whose sheet also says "Ask HomeRecon Genie." This doc is the business Genie; that one's in the capture dock doc. The Genie meets the same gates as you: the demo wall, the trial cap, and the confirm-your-email wall all apply before anything is created. It doesn't appear on the full-screen capture page — out there, the dock is the tool.
